POSITION: We are looking for a Vertical Sales Manager

LOCATION: Nairobi

BACKGROUND: The Vertical Sales Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company’s engagement with specific Vertical marketplaces.

JOB OVERVIEW & DESCRIPTION

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Achieve Sales Quotas for the Vertical on a Quarterly and Annual basis, through personal selling and through building a team of quota owners.

• Be a trusted adviser to the Vertical customer base by understanding existing and shaping future IT road map to drive Atlancis solutions within the marketplace.

• Motivate and lead a high-performance Vertical team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the Vertical team not currently in place; provide mentoring to the team’s career development program.

• Collaborate with the other Business Units to develop and implement plans for systems, processes and personnel design to achieve the overall growth objectives of the Vertical.

• Act as lead Customer Amazement Officer through direct engagement with Employees, Clients and Partners.

• Be the Voice of the Customer to the company EXCO, through strategy presentations, War Rooms and reviews.

Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University.

• A strong C-Level network within the targeted Verticals.

• 5 or more years of successful experience in selling Enterprise or XaaS in the target Vertical, hitting quotas in excess of $5m per annum.

• Demonstrable track record of success in driving consistent Vertical activity, pipeline development and target achievement.
